With every downward tick of scoreboard, Peyton Manning appears increasingly frustrated. Arms folded so tightly his veins pop, a facial color nearing a plum tomato, and a lip snarl that would intimidate a grizzly bear. With Indianapolis nearing a perfectly imperfect season, Manning seems like the only member of the 0-11 Colts that hasn't thrown in the towel.

It's clear as day that Owner, Jim Irsay and General Manager, Bill Polian were the only two guys that didn't take suck for luck jokingly. They've made it clear that they would select Andrew Luck with the #1 pick should he forgo his senior season, despite having Peyton Manning. They've had ample opportunity to go out and stop the bleeding by signing, or claiming a veteran quarterback. The effort throughout the organization to this point has been the real joke. There are plenty of veteran leaders permeating throughout the Colts locker room to muster up enough pride to sneak out a "W.'

Without Peyton Manning running the Colts franchise from under center, those into sports betting have realized despite constantly getting boatloads of points, they're unbackable. It's clear as day who the NFL MVP is this season -- and it's a guy who hasn't taken a meaningful snap all year!

Do you wonder why this guy is as good as he is? Despite everyone in the franchise quitting on the season, Peyton has continued what has gotten him to the top. Hard work, and dedication. Those attributes are the reason good news is coming out of Indianapolis from doctors this morning. They've told Peyton Manning he will be able to begin more strenuous phases of his rehab program. The latest checkup on his neck has found the fusion procedure has achieved firm fixation.
