A four-team deal sending Shawn Marion to the Dallas Mavericks has been approved.

Under the sign-and-trade deal, the Orlando Magic traded Hedo Turkoglu to the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors sent Marion, Kris Humphries, Nathan Jawai and cash considerations to Dallas, while also sending a future second round draft pick to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Mavericks in turn shipped Jerry Stackhouse and cash considerations to the Grizzlies and Devean George and Antoine Wright to Toronto, while the Grizzlies dealt Greg Buckner to Dallas.

The San Antonio Spurs landed free agent Antonio McDyess on Wednesday in another big offseason pickup.

McDyess, who despite being 34 was among the most sought players on the market this summer, reached a deal with the Spurs and is expected to sign later this week, team spokesman Cliff Puchalski said.

Terms of the deal were not fully disclosed, but the Spurs had their full midlevel exception, worth about $5.85 million this season, to offer the 6-foot-9 forward.

Life is about image…Nike, and LeBron James confiscate dunk videos.

The self-named “Chosen One” LeBron James, as tattooed on his back apparently has some serious image issues.

In efforts to not have footage of himself being leaked on the internet/youtube of being dunked on two-handed by Xavier University sophomore Jordan Crawford. “King James” had Nike take the tape from video shooter Ryan Miller.

Miller said he had been recording footage all day long during LeBron James Skills Academy at the University of Akron. It wasn’t until last night after the slam dunk did Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt come over to confiscate the tape by saying “We have to take your tape.” They also took a few other kids tapes that were recording footage last night as well.

Chris James a writer for Rivals.com says: “Since no one will see it, the dunk could grow to mythic proportions. The story of the dunk will grow in stature with each telling. Today, it was a simple two-handed slam. In a few days, it will be a 360-degree windmill. By the time Crawford makes his Xavier debut in October, he will have jumped off LeBron’s shoulders, flipped in the air, slammed the ball home with his left pinkie and then handed LeBron $3.99 for his dry cleaning.”
